Introduction
My name is Barbie Selby. I am Manager of Reference Services at Alderman & Clemons Libraries at the University of Virginia.
Beginning June 16th I will be the Librarian for the Summer 2006 Semester at Sea voyage. Please consult the Semester at Sea web site (www.semesteratsea.com) for more information on this program. This is the first voyage for which the University of Virginia is the academic sponsor. UVA Library staff are excited about providing library service for Semester at Sea, and I'm excited about being the first UVA S@S librarian. I'll be posting to the blog periodically during my voyage.
